THE LOCKING DEVICE

Single Rod Locking Device: Ideal for a Low to Medium-Risk Environment.

• A single spring steel rod runs horizontally through a steel square tubing welded to the inside of both container doors, sliding into the opposite container pillar. Once the rod is in place, the doors cannot be opened from the outside.
• Slide the rod on the inside through the tubing into both pillars and turn the lock cylinder (attached to the rod) to engage. To unlock, retract the lock cylinder and remove the rod by sliding it out, then the doors of the container can be opened from outside.
• Only once the screw-in keyhole cover is removed will the interior lock be visible in the container door post. The heavy duty lock cylinder locks into place on the inside of the container door post and without the key it is nearly impossible to remove – it would probably be quicker / easier to cut a hole into the side of the container than to remove the lock.

Dual Rod Locking Device : Ideal for a Medium to High-risk environments demanding maximum security

• Horizontal & Vertical Rods:
  Combines the single horizontal-rod lock (see above) with a vertical locking rod that anchors into pockets at both the top and bottom posts of the door frame.
• Interlocked Release Sequence:
  The horizontal rod blocks the internal handle from turning. Only once it’s removed can the handle be rotated, retracting the vertical rod from its top and bottom locked positions.
• Forced-Entry Resistance:
  Two steel locking rods dramatically increase resistance to prying, cutting, and leverage attacks.
• Concealed Handle Assembly:
  The handle and vertical rod mechanism are fully hidden within — accessible only from inside the container.
